The mid-term review of the College of Health Sciences (CHS) Performance Contract for the 2018/2019 financial year was conducted on 26th and 27th February, 2019.
The exercise which was conducted at the School of Medicine boardroom was led by the University of Nairobi’s Performance Contract Secretariat under the leadership of Mr. Leonard Musyoka.
The main objective of the exercise was to assess the progress made in achieving the college’s yearly targets as laid out in the performance contract for the 2018/2019 financial year.
Speaking after the completing the exercise, Mr. Musyoka said all the data had been collected in all departments at CHS adding that the college was on course in implementing the set PC targets.
The College Principal, Prof. James Machoki hosted Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic affairs, Prof. Julius Ogeng’o and acting Deputy Vice-Chancellor Human Resource and Administration, Prof. Stephen Kiama during the two days exercise.
Prof. Ogeng’o said PC review is all about giving evidence of the activities that have been happening on a day to day basis with the aim of improving performance.
On his side, Prof. Kiama insited pn the need for team work in order to achieve the set PC targets in any particular year.
Prof. Machoki promised to work will all staff to ensure that the 2018/2019 PC is fully implemented and the targets met.
